Juriste et pénaliste hongrois né à Grosswardein le 10 octobre 1843, formé à l'Académie de droit locale puis à l'université de Budapest. Il se fait connaître par sa conduite dans le célèbre procès de Tiszaeszlár, et publie plusieurs ouvrages juridiques, dont un sur l'exploitation minière hongroise (Budapest, 1866) et un autre sur le jury populaire (1876), récompensé par le grand prix de l'Académie.
