Savant rabbinique hollandais ; père de Moses Frankfurter ; né à Schwerin, Allemagne ; décédé à Amsterdam le 9 décembre 1712. Il était l'auteur d'une œuvre en deux parties, contenant les rites et les prières pour l'usage des malades et du deuil, la première partie en hébreu sous le titre « Dine Semaḥot », la deuxième en judéo-allemand avec le titre « Alle Dinim von Freuden » (Amsterdam, 1703). Elle a été réditée par Moses Frankfurter sous le titre « Sefer ha-Ḥayyim » (_ib._ 1716). C. Rehfuss de Heidelberg la publia avec une traduction allemande (Francfort-sur-le-Main, 1834), et Benjamin H.
