Érudit russe actif à Varsovie dans la première moitié du XIXe siècle, qui voyagea en Allemagne et en Angleterre. Il publie le « Teru'at Melek », sur le patriotisme et le devoir de loyauté, avec une traduction allemande (Breslau, 1833), le « Neṣaḥ we-Hod », sur l'immortalité et la paix perpétuelle de l'âme selon les prophètes et les philosophes, avec une traduction anglaise (Londres, 1836), et une élégie en hébreu et en anglais sur la mort du baron Nathan Rothschild, l'« Ebel Kabed » (1836) ; Samuel Ghirondi, qui le rencontra en Italie, loue hautement son savoir et sa piété.
