Florentin, Ḥayyim Samuel

Rabbin de Salonique, actif au XVIIe siècle, auteur du « Me'il Shemuel » (Salonique, 1725), recueil de responsa et d'analecta talmudiques accompagné de notes de son frère Isaac Florentin sur Maïmonide. Il a également laissé des annotations au Shoulhan Aroukh, Ḥoshen Mishpaṭ, réunies dans le recueil « Moreh Ṣedeq » de Michael b. Moïse ha-Cohen (1655).

Rabbin de Salonique ; vivant au dix-septième siècle. Il fut l'auteur d'un ouvrage intitulé « Me'il Shemuel » (Salonique, 1725), contenant quarante-cinq responsa et quatre-vingt-onze analecta sur le Talmud. À la fin se trouvent quelques notes de son frère, Isaac Florentin, sur Maïmonide. Ḥayyim écrivit aussi quelques notes sur le Shulḥan 'Aruk, Ḥoshen Mishpaṭ, qui se trouvent dans la collection « Moreh Ẓedeḳ » de Michael b. Moses ha-Kohen (_ib._ 1655).
