Chef du bureau de sténographie du Parlement hongrois, né à Zala-Egerszeg en 1837, formé à Székesfehérvár puis à Budapest. Il adapte le système sténographique de Stolze à la langue hongroise et devient le fondateur de la sténographie hongroise, publiant en 1863 son premier manuel, « A Gyorsirás Kimeritö Tankönyve » ; il organise le bureau de sténographie à la réouverture du Parlement et crée les premières classes de sténographie de Hongrie. Chargé par la Caisse d'épargne de Budapest d'écrire son histoire, il publie en 1890 « A Pesti Hazai Takarékpénztar 50 Eves Története ».
