Tunisian journalist, founder and editor of the weekly Le Réveil Juif in Sfax. Appointed in 1932 as the first commissioner (netsiv) of Betar in Tunisia (Jabotinsky's movement), he was, from 1939 onward, among the first to denounce antisemitism and Nazi crimes via Radio Tunis and « La Demi-Heure Hébraïque ». He was imprisoned several times for his positions.
