Journaliste hongrois né à Kecskemét le 19 novembre 1854, formé en droit à Berlin et à Leipzig, où il fonde la revue critique « Deutsche Reichslaterne ». Il s'installe à Budapest en 1884 et dirige, avec Josef Hevesi puis seul à partir de 1891, le mensuel « Magyar Szalon » ; il publie notamment « Az Esküdtszéki Intèzményröl » (1884) et « A Magyar Nemzet Gazdasàgi Törtènete » (1887).
