Né à Bagdad, fils de Khedouri Zilkha. Financier américain et philanthrope, il fonde à l'université de Princeton le Khedouri Zilkha Fund pour l'étude de l'histoire de la civilisation juive au Proche-Orient. Il a rédigé (avec Ken Emerson) le récit familial « From Baghdad to Boardrooms ».
