Salomon ben Juda Ezobi fut rabbin à Carpentras, à Livourne puis à Florence ; né à Sofia, en Bulgarie, au XVIe siècle, il mourut en Italie vers 1650. Rabbin de Carpentras (1620-35), il y enseigna l'hébreu à l'évêque de Lodève Jean Plantavit de la Pause et se lia, vers 1633, d'amitié avec le savant Peiresc. Il fut nommé rabbin de Livourne en 1638, puis de Florence, et laissa en manuscrit un recueil d'homélies, l'« Aguddat Ezob ».
