Albert Eulenburg fut un neuropathologiste et électrothérapeute allemand, né le 10 août 1840 à Berlin, fils du médecin Moritz Michael Eulenburg. Docteur en 1861, il devint en 1874 professeur à l'université de Greifswald avant de s'installer à Berlin en 1882 pour y ouvrir un hôpital privé consacré aux maladies nerveuses ; il fut nommé professeur adjoint à l'université de Berlin en 1890. Il dirigea la volumineuse « Realencyklopädie der Gesammten Heilkunde », publiée à partir de 1880.
