Issachar Berush Eskeles fut un rabbin et financier autrichien, né en 1692 et mort à Vienne le 2 mars 1753, fils de Gabriel Eskeles et gendre de Samson Wertheimer. Nommé rabbin de Kremsir en 1710 puis, en 1718, rabbin de Nikolsbourg, il fut désigné le 10 septembre 1725 par l'empereur Charles VI « Landesrabbiner » de Hongrie, tout en résidant à Vienne. Il obtint en 1742, avec le baron d'Aguilar, l'annulation d'une lourde taxe imposée aux juifs de Moravie.
