Léo-Abram Errera fut un botaniste belge, né à Laeken le 4 septembre 1858 et mort à Bruxelles le 1er août 1905. Formé aux universités de Bruxelles, Strasbourg, Bonn et Würzburg, il devint professeur de botanique à l'université de Bruxelles en 1890 et dirigea l'Institut botanique de la ville. Il est notamment l'auteur de « Les Juifs Russes : Extermination ou Emancipation ? » (Bruxelles, 1893), préfacé par Mommsen et traduit en anglais sous le titre « The Russian Jews » (Londres, 1894).
