Médecin et hébraïsant russe né à Toultchyn, dans le gouvernement de Podolie, mort à Saint-Pétersbourg le 31 janvier 1822. Il composa un hymne en hébreu et en français dédié au tsar Alexandre Ier (Munich, 1811) et rédigea en allemand un manuel d'histoire juive accompagné d'un aperçu géographique de la Palestine à l'usage des écoles juives, traduit plus tard en russe par Z. Minor (Moscou, 1880).
