Rabbin et poète liturgique italien, actif à Bari au XIIe siècle, l'un des maîtres de Samuel b. Natronaï. Compositeur d'hymnes réputé, il écrivit une « reshout » pour les « Ḳerovot » de Yoḥanan destinées à Yom Kippour ainsi qu'un grand nombre de seliḥot — trente-six selon le décompte de Zunz, disposées en ordre alphabétique ou inversé et portant l'acrostiche de son nom.
