Poète liturgique français actif au Mans au XIe siècle, gendre présumé de Sherira Gaon selon Salomon Luria, élève de Rabbenou Guershom et compagnon de Joseph Tob-Elem, avec qui il discuta de récitation liturgique. Il composa les « Azharot », poème de cent soixante-seize strophes de quatre vers sur les six cent treize commandements, cité par les Tossafistes, ainsi que le « Seder ha-Ma'arakhah », des passages bibliques disposés pour la récitation quotidienne.
