Rabbin autrichien né en Galicie en 1733, mort à Presbourg le 21 septembre 1785. Enfant, il se distingua à Brody par une homélie casuistique et un débat avec le rabbin Isaac Hurwitz, dont il devint le gendre ; contemporain de Sender Margoliouth et maître de Jacob Lissa, il fut d'abord rabbin de Tusmenetz puis, à partir de 1775, de Presbourg. Ses responsa, « She'elot u-Teshubot RaMA », parurent à Czernowitz en 1862.
