Peintre français né à Bordeaux en 1794 et mort le 29 mai 1817, Félix Dias révèle dès sa prime jeunesse un talent marqué pour la peinture, remporte plusieurs prix à l'Académie et obtient en 1817 le premier prix de composition ; les quelques œuvres qu'il laisse témoignent d'un habile mélange des couleurs, d'un goût sûr dans la composition et d'une grande vigueur de dessin.
