Talmudiste du XVIIIe siècle surnommé « Dessau » d'après la ville où il vivait, Moïse b. Michaël Dessau publie en 1724 des nouvelles aggadiques sur les traités Berakhot, Chabbat et Kiddouchin ainsi que des nouvelles halakhiques sur Pessahim et Ketouvot, puis en 1765 le « Zikron Mosheh », nouvelles sur divers sujets aggadiques et halakhiques ; il édite et annote aussi les « Sha'are Doura » d'Isaac b. Meïr de Dueren.
