Benjamin est l'auteur du « Masoret ha-Berit », commentaire homilétique sur le Pentateuque et les cinq Meguilot, édité par son fils Meïr b. David (Hambourg, 1715), et du « Sha'are Ẓiyyon », recueil d'éthique et d'homélies puisé notamment dans le « Sefer Ḥasidim ».
