Rabbin, notaire et kabbaliste de Meknès au XVIIe siècle. Principal idéologue du messianisme sabbataïen au Maroc après la conversion de Shabbetaï Tsvi en 1666 ; par des calculs de guématria il soutenait que la rédemption surviendrait en 1675. Il resta strictement observant de la halakha et conserva son prestige communautaire ; ses trois fils (Shemuel, Eliezer, Yossef) furent aussi rabbins à Meknès.
