Rabbin, enseignant et journaliste roumain, né vers 1850 à Eskee Sara, en Roumélie orientale ; il se réfugie en Roumanie après la guerre russo-turque de 1878. Il fut le premier en Orient à fonder un journal judéo-espagnol en caractères latins, El Luzero de la Paciencia, qu'il dirigea à Turnu Severin pendant deux ans (1886-87).
