Hébraïsant et juge français, né en 1800, mort en 1878, fils de Mordecai Crémieux. Érudit talmudique, il enseigne l'hébreu aux enfants juifs d'Aix et officie souvent comme shoḥet, mohel et hazzan, avant d'entamer en 1821 une carrière commerciale, puis de siéger dix-sept ans comme juge au tribunal de commerce d'Aix, en Provence, où il contribue à faire adopter une loi sur les faillites. Il compte parmi les fondateurs des Archives Israélites et fut membre du consistoire de Marseille.
