Rabbin italien, né en 1819, mort en 1897. Il succède à Abraham Baruch Piperno comme rabbin de Livourne en 1864. Parmi ses nombreux ouvrages figurent un Maḥzor pour Roch Hachana annoté (1869), un Maḥzor séfarade complet traduit en italien (1892), le Zohar en caractères hébraïques carrés avec ponctuation (Livourne, 1888), le recueil de contes Miqweh Yisrael (1851) et un dictionnaire hébreu-italien composé avec les rabbins Funaro et Cabib (1853). Franc-maçon, il atteignit le trente-troisième degré.
