Médecin, né à Leghorn vers 1746, fils d'Abraham Isaac Castello. Après des études de médecine à Pise, il revint dans sa ville natale, où il acquit une solide réputation ; un ouvrage médical de lui, dédié à l'archiduc devenu plus tard l'empereur Léopold II, ne parut qu'après sa mort, survenue en pleine maturité. Son frère Samuel fut un médecin réputé à Leghorn, et son fils, également prénommé Abraham Isaac, y fut avocat et poète.

Médecin ; né à Livourne vers 1746 ; fils d'Abraham Isaac. Après avoir étudié la médecine à Pise, il revint dans sa ville natale, où il acquit bientôt une réputation de médecin. Une œuvre médicale écrite par Castello et dédiée à l'archiduc (qui devint par la suite l'Empereur Léopold II) n'apparut qu'après sa mort, qui survint alors qu'il était encore dans la force de l'âge. Le frère de Castello, Samuel, était un médecin éminent à Livourne, et son fils Abraham Isaac était avocat et poète dans la même ville.
