Il composa quatre élégies insérées dans le Maḥzor manuscrit d'Avignon, dont la dernière porte sa signature ; il est très probablement identique au Jozué du Cayslar cité, avec Ferussol Pampelona, dans un document daté du 15 juin 1558 comme membre élu du conseil de la communauté juive d'Avignon.
