Médecin et poète, actif à Avignon en 1327. Il est l'auteur d'un poème liturgique pour Pourim, dont la signature, relevée dans un manuscrit, a conduit Neubauer — suivi par Zunz — à le rattacher à la famille des Yiẓhari, hypothèse que Gross conteste, y voyant une simple appellation honorifique. Selon Zunz, il aurait aussi composé un poème sur l'histoire d'Esther et Mardochée, qu'il traduisit en langue vernaculaire ; un fragment d'un poème provençal du maître Crescas a par ailleurs été publié dans la revue « Romania » en 1892.
