Converti au christianisme, né en France sous le nom de Todros Cohen et établi à Florence au milieu du seizième siècle. Médecin d'un duc espagnol, il se trouvait avec les troupes impériales qui assiégèrent Florence en 1530, puis embrassa le christianisme à Gênes à l'âge de cinquante ans. Il est l'auteur de Mar'ot Elohim, Liber Visorum Divinorum, récit de sa conversion appuyé de citations bibliques et cabalistiques en faveur du christianisme, publié à Paris en 1553 et traduit en latin à Florence en 1554.
