Apologiste né à Madrid vers 1670, de parents marranes. D'abord moine augustin à Burgos et prédicateur réputé, il se convertit au judaïsme à Leghorn au cours d'un voyage à Rome, puis, établi en Hollande où il fut circoncis, rédigea en espagnol son Apologie du judaïsme, publiée à La Haye en 1633 sous le pseudonyme éditorial de Nodriza et reprise plus tard dans la Coleccion de Reformadores Españoles de Wiffen, qui le croyait protestant.
