Prophète shabbétaïste et médecin, né en Espagne vers 1630 et mort au Caire en 1706 ; descendant de marranes de la ville portugaise de Celorico. Après avoir étudié la médecine, il quitta l'Espagne pour Venise, où il embrassa le judaïsme sous le nom d'Abraham, puis exerça comme médecin à Leghorn avant de soutenir avec ferveur la prétention messianique de Shabbetaï Tsevi, allant jusqu'à se proclamer lui-même Messie fils d'Éphraïm. Banni de Tripoli, il s'établit en 1703 au Caire comme médecin du pacha d'Égypte, où il fut assassiné par son neveu.
