Converti juif ayant vécu à Cologne de 1442 à 1515. Comme beaucoup de convertis, il chercha à montrer son zèle pour sa nouvelle religion en écrivant contre ses anciens coreligionnaires, publiant notamment à Cologne l'Opus Aureum en 1509 et le Propugnaculum Fidei Christianae en 1504-8. Devenu ecclésiastique dans sa vieillesse, il fut, selon son épitaphe gravée sur la porte de l'église Sainte-Ursule de Cologne, l'auteur de quatre ouvrages contre les erreurs des juifs.
