Hébraïsant allemand, né à Haguenau, en Alsace, en 1478 et mort en 1541. Nommé professeur de théologie à Bâle en 1515, il devint quelques années plus tard prévôt de Saint-Thomas de Strasbourg, et laissa une grammaire hébraïque ainsi que divers ouvrages théologiques.
