Nathan ben Abraham Burgel est un rabbin de Tunis vers 1750, élève d'Isaac Lombroso, réputé autorité rabbinique consultée de loin; devenu vieux, il se rend à Jérusalem, où il meurt peu après son arrivée, en décembre 1791. Il est l'auteur de novellæ et d'explications sur l'ordre michnique Kodachim et le traité Horayot (Livourne, 1776-78), rééditées dans l'édition du Talmud de Wilna (1895-97).
