Aryeh Löb ben Hayyim Breslau est un talmudiste et rabbin allemand né en 1741 à Breslau, en Prusse, et mort le 22 avril 1809 à Rotterdam. Après Lissa, Posen et Berlin, puis Emden comme rabbin de ville, il est appelé en 1781 grand-rabbin de Rotterdam, où sa réputation de talmudiste — consulté par Phinehas Hurwitz, Isaïe Berlin et David Tevele Schiff — dépasse les cercles juifs. Il publie un recueil de responsa, « Péné Aryéh » (Amsterdam, 1790), remarqué pour sa méthode logique; lors de l'entrée de l'armée révolutionnaire française aux Pays-Bas, en 1793, il compose pour la synagogue une série de prières traduites en néerlandais.
