ברכה סרי
Region: Sanaa (Yémen) ; Israël
Née à Sanaa dans une famille juive religieuse, arrivée en Israël à 10 ans lors de l'opération « Tapis volant ». Titulaire d'une maîtrise en linguistique hébraïque et sémitique de l'Université hébraïque, elle étudia la langue des femmes yéménites. Sa poésie mêle traditions yéménites, féminisme et intertextualité biblique ; elle reçut le prix de littérature du Premier ministre en 1990 et fonda sa propre maison d'édition, Ha'Or Ha'Ganuz.
