Arthur Bornstein est un auteur allemand né à Breslau le 23 mars 1867, formé à Breslau, Berlin et Berne, reçu à l'examen d'État de Berlin en 1888; chirurgien-dentiste de profession, il se consacre aussi à la littérature, publiant un recueil de nouvelles, « Klippen » (Berlin, 1894), le drame « Der Theaterarzt », puis, en 1900, « Vergnügte Geschichten », ainsi que de nombreux récits, esquisses humoristiques et poèmes.
