Juda (Jaffuda) Bonsenyor est le notaire général d'Aragon et traducteur de l'arabe, fils de l'aîné des Astruc, interprète d'abord d'Alphonse III puis de Jaime II, mort vers 1334. Après avoir accompagné Alphonse III dans sa conquête de Minorque en 1287, il est nommé notaire général du royaume par Jaime II en 1294, chargé de traduire ou d'authentifier tout document arabe; en 1305, le roi lui accorde un passeport pour la Provence, et le 4 novembre 1310, il est exempté de tous impôts. Chargé de rassembler des maximes arabes traduites en catalan pour les princes, sa collection, restée longtemps manuscrite, fut publiée en 1889 et traduite en espagnol en 1402.
