Hermann Fadeïevitch Blumenfeld est un juriste russe, fils de Feitel, né à Kherson le 2 septembre 1861. Diplômé en 1883 de l'université de Novorossia à Odessa, où il reçoit une médaille d'or pour son mémoire sur les formes de la propriété foncière dans l'ancienne Russie (Odessa, 1883), il publie en 1888 une étude sur la propriété foncière tatare de Crimée et collabore largement aux périodiques russo-juifs « Voskhod » et « Yevreïskoïe Obozrenie » sur l'activité économique des Juifs du sud de la Russie.
