Fanny Bloomfield-Zeisler est une pianiste américaine, sœur de Maurice Bloomfield, née à Bielitz, en Silésie autrichienne, le 16 juillet 1866; ses parents s'installent à Chicago en 1868, où elle reçoit sa première formation pianistique avant d'étudier à Vienne auprès de Leschetizky. De retour aux États-Unis, elle multiplie les récitals de 1883 à 1893, puis triomphe lors d'une tournée européenne prolongée jusqu'en 1895, donne plus de cinquante concerts en Amérique durant la saison 1895-96, tourne dans les États du Pacifique en 1897, et repart pour la Grande-Bretagne et la France en 1898.
