Séfarade de Bulgarie, dirigeant du mouvement sioniste bulgare et du mouvement révisionniste, membre du Comité illégal pour le sauvetage des Juifs de Bulgarie pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il émigra en Israël, siégea à la Knesset (Herut/Gahal, 1955–1965) et fut historien de la judéité bulgare (dont « Vidni evrei v Bulgariya », Distinguished Jews in Bulgaria).
