Salomon Bing est un médecin allemand, fils du docteur Abraham Bing de Bingen et gendre du savant Joseph Salomon del Medigo, né vers 1615. Formé au latin chez les jésuites de Mayence et de Prague puis à la médecine sous Del Medigo et à l'université de Padoue, il obtint en 1645, au départ de son beau-père pour Prague, l'autorisation d'exercer comme médecin du quartier juif de Francfort; accusé en 1653 d'avoir causé la mort d'un patient chrétien par des remèdes nocifs, il vit à la suite de cette affaire la pratique des médecins juifs restreinte au seul quartier juif.
