Henry Biegeleisen est un critique et écrivain polonais né en 1855 en Galicie, docteur en philologie de Leipzig en 1882, aujourd'hui directeur de l'école hébraïque de Lemberg. Il publie notamment « Pan Tadeusz Mickiewicz », une étude d'esthétique littéraire (Varsovie, 1884), et « Julius Slomatzky », en deux volumes (Lemberg, 1895), ainsi que de nombreux articles dans les revues polonaises.
