Philosophe religieux et prédicateur espagnol né à Saragosse, établi à Huesca en 1446 et encore vivant en 1489. À la cour de Jean II d'Aragon, il débattit, jeune homme, avec un savant chrétien réputé sur le dogme de la Trinité, et se distingua par sa connaissance à la fois de la philosophie arabo-judéenne et de la théologie chrétienne latine, qu'il étudia pour mieux défendre savamment la foi juive. Son œuvre principale, le « Derekh Emouna » (Le Chemin de la foi), rédigée vers la fin de sa vie, fut imprimée en 1521 à Constantinople.
