Naḥman ben Simḥah Berlin est un écrivain polémiste antiréformiste actif à Lissa, en Allemagne, à la fin du dix-huitième siècle et au début du dix-neuvième, dont l'activité littéraire fut tout entière vouée à la défense de l'orthodoxie contre les tentatives de réforme du judaïsme. Il publie notamment « 'En Mishpaṭ » contre les éditeurs du « Ha-Meassef » (Berlin, 1796), « Keter Torah » (Dyhernfurth, 1810) et, en 1819 seul, trois ouvrages successifs — « Kaddur Ḳaṭan », « 'Et le-Dabber » et « Simḥah ».
