Jacob Berlin, dit Yokob, est un talmudiste allemand né en 1707, probablement à Berlin, et mort en 1749 à Fürth, en Bavière, élève de Jacob ha-Cohen, auteur du « Sheb Ya'aḳob », et installé à Fürth au plus tard en 1734 comme simple particulier aisé — sans lien de parenté avec la célèbre famille Berlin de cette ville. Deux de ses sept ouvrages parurent après sa mort : « Be'er Ya'aḳob », un recueil de responsa publié par son frère Isaac et son fils Abraham en 1767, et « Zikron Ya'aḳob », un commentaire homilétique du Pentateuque, en 1769.
