בנימין בן משה הנהוונדי
Region: Nahavand (Perse), aire irako-persane
L'un des plus grands savants du karaïsme médiéval, au point que certains le considèrent comme le véritable fondateur du karaïsme tel qu'il s'est transmis. Son nom renvoie à Nahavand, en Perse. Il rédigea, surtout en judéo-arabe, des codes de loi karaïte et des commentaires bibliques très estimés (Abraham ibn Ezra le cite avec respect).
