Juriste autrichien; né à Döbling, près de Vienne, le 6 octobre 1851. Il étudia le droit à l'Université de Vienne et, après son diplôme, devint l'éditeur de la "Juristische Blätter." Outre ses travaux de rédacteur en chef, il écrivit: "Reform des Schadenrechts bei Ehrenbeleidigungen," 1885; "Reformation der Konkursordnung," 1887; "Einfluss des Schwurgerichts auf das Materielle Strafrecht," 1888; et "Bemerkungen über das Urheberrecht und den Gesetzentwurf der Oesterreichischen Regierung," 1893.
