Grand rabbin de la communauté juive de Smyrne, en Asie Mineure, dans la seconde moitié du XVIIIe siècle, où il succéda à son père Abraham Ben-Ezra ; il mourut en 1782. Il est l'auteur d'une série de sermons hébraïques, « Yad Shelomoh » (La Main de Salomon), publiés à Salonique en 1826, ainsi que de deux autres ouvrages, « Bet-Metabahia » et « Bet-Abtinas ».
