Enseignant et médecin russe, né dans le premier quart du XIXe siècle, mort à Wilna le 9 mars 1897. Diplômé de l'École rabbinique de Wilna, il y fut professeur principal pendant dix-sept ans jusqu'à la fermeture de l'établissement sur ordre du gouvernement, puis entreprit des études de médecine à l'Académie de médecine de Saint-Pétersbourg. Devenu médecin militaire, il contribua par des articles sur la question juive à la « Yevreiskaya Biblioteka » et au « Razsvyet ».
