Rabbin italien né à Pesaro, mort à Rome le 6 mai 1835, où il officiait comme rabbin depuis 1825. Le 18 décembre 1829, il fut reçu quarante minutes par le pape Léon XII pour plaider en faveur de sa communauté — la première fois dans l'histoire des Juifs de Rome qu'un de leurs représentants était admis en personne devant le pontife.
