Philanthrope et actrice communautaire allemande, morte à Berlin le 22 (ou 24) juin 1854. Épouse du banquier Jacob Herz Beer et fille de Liebmann Meyer Wolf, elle se distingua par sa charité, notamment au sein de la Société d'aide aux soldats blessés placée sous le patronage de la princesse Guillaume de Prusse ; en reconnaissance, elle reçut du roi l'ordre de la Reine Louise, devenant la première femme juive ainsi distinguée. Son salon de la Thiergartenstrasse, à Berlin, comptait parmi les plus brillants de son temps. Elle fut la mère du poète Michael Beer et du compositeur Giacomo Meyerbeer.
